pennies from heaven

I have said it over and over
that I am so incredibly blessed
in the fact that I am
always able to hear from Jimmy.
I believe any one can hear
from those they have lost as well...
just open your heart and it happens...
call it faith if you will.
One of my many hellos come
in finding coins...
and I am not looking!
I ask for a coin or
need an "I'm Here!"
at some moment
and there it is...

I had some doubt about a decision
several months ago
and my approval came!
I stumbled upon 42 pennies
scattered on the pavement!
Hello!!!

A week or so ago Ashley dreamed of Jim!
Thankfully, she called!
(she always does!)

In short, she ran into Jim in her dream...
at the end of the dream,
he asked her if
"she had picked up the coins
under the table."

Ashley asked if I had found
any coins under a table,
knowing they seem to pop up
at the best times!
But, no...I hadn't.

March 2nd, I asked for a coin!
This is a difficult night and in my heart,
a penny would mean so much.

I ran into Gap and immediately
came upon a quarter peeking
from under melted slush and snow!
Thank you!

An hour later, I went to pick up
blue balloons for today
and found two little pennies!
Thank you again.

27 cents...
that means so much!
If I had found just one more penny...
Jimmy is now 28 years old...

His mass was at St Brigid's...

As my friend Linda and I
left the chapel having said our goodbyes
I glanced at the table by the door that
holds the Host and Wine for communion...

Under the table on the lower shelf by
a bowl of Rosaries set
one little penny!

My 28 cents!

On the way from Church
I spotted a license plate...
JE 5cnts

Yes...It has been 5 very long years!

But I have my Frank, my Gabe
and their families,
I have my dear siblings
and their families,
I have my friends and
my Jim's friends...
And to make it all as perfect
as can be...
I have my Jimmy!
Always and ever
in my heart and in my life...
with his pennies...

"In God We Trust!"
