This summer Matt Perry and I went to a my friend's wedding. She lives in Russell, PA and her house is on a huge hill. She is very far from any type of city, and at night the sky gets pitch black. You can see stars, upon stars, upon stars... hundreds, thousands, maybe millions. Matt and I sat there and looked at the stars, and I thought of Jim and this painting makes me think me of that night. The darkness that night reminded me of being a kid, and how dark it would get in Sha Sha's backyard when we would camp out or play flashlight tag. It's those memories of Jim that get me through each day, it's the future that I makes me miss him
I live all the way on the other side of the world and somehow stumbled on this site. I didn't know Jimmy but I wanted to share that I am nevertheless touched by your love for him. In this crazy time of the word where tragedy and hatred rear their heads too frequently, your love and the light of this person transcend. Keep faith and know that Jimmy is touching people even now.
Dear friend ...I thank you from my heart for taking the time to read about "our Jim" and especially for taking the time to post your thoughts...you show me that my son continues to shine! I knew that already; but how wonderful to know that he continues to touch hearts. He is so dearly loved. Please stop in again as we have much more to share. Peace...
