Our wonderful little Lukie!
It's now three years that you have been gone
and I hold your every memory dear to my heart!It's now three years that you have been gone
I have been tempted, so tempted
to invest (mostly my heart)
in another little Springer...
How would I know which puppy was right for me?
You chose our family when you wobbled over
to Jimmy and crawled up on his sandals...
you snuggled down.
What little dog will ever be able to do that?
I'll simply wait...
If there is a sweet little Springer
for me...he will let me know!

I remember many, many days of being late for school while trying to tempt little Lukie back inside with cheese! A few other times driving around looking for Lukie. And even once when I took him to his groomer! What a sweet, sweet puppy!
Thank you Ashley...he was a cool little dude!
I can't tell you how many times I'd come around the corner to visit and Luke would already be standing at the door or in the front window barking his furry little head off! It was almost as if he knew I was coming and was there to welcome me. He was loyal and true funny and had more personality that some people and I miss him, too. Hugs, Lukie Bird!!
