It's now three years that you have been gone

and I hold your every memory dear to my heart!

I have been tempted, so tempted
to invest (mostly my heart)
in another little Springer...
How would I know which puppy was right for me?
You chose our family when you wobbled over
to Jimmy and crawled up on his sandals...
you snuggled down.
What little dog will ever be able to do that?
I'll simply wait...
If there is a sweet little Springer
for me...he will let me know!
