Uncles
I posted the next 4 pictures together purposely, to honor the three men Jim was named after, his mother's three brothers: Russell, James, & Mark. Jimmy was also a loving uncle himself. I remember going shopping with Jim for Teah's birthday one year, I think it might have been her 5th birthday. Jim wanted to buy Teah a ring. He looked EVERYWHERE to find her a ring small enough for her little finger.
He really wanted to buy her an irish claddagh ring, because they were his favorite. Jimmy loved what the claddagh ring symbolizes: love, friendship & loyalty.
I don't exactly remember what he picked out, I just remember how particular he was about the ring. He wanted Teah to really like what he picked for her. It was very sweet.

Jim was not only a great uncle but an awesome older "cuz" as well. I can't begin to count the endless hours he spent with "little Jimmy" playing hockey in his mom's living room with a ball of aluminum foil for a puck. He also had a hand in teaching little cuz how to skate at the rink in Erie. I can still see him holding little Jimmy's hand while he shuffled along on the ice with his big cuz there for support!
