"Landscape of the Heart"

I was browsing in a little gift shop and came upon some prints by artist and storyteller Brian Andreas...They immediately struck a chord in my heart! They are quirky in their design, for sure! But they do speak from the heart and I love that. I get a "Story of the Day" in my email each morning...usually it brings a smile and sometimes, a little lump in my throat. This one was just perfect! It so reminds me that my Jim has always been with me; and always will be!

It is still so new & all we see is the empty space,
but that is not how it is in the landscape
of the heart. There, there is no empty
space & he still laughs & grapples with
ideas & plans & nods wisely with
each of us in turn.
We are proud to have known him.
We are proud to have called him friend.
