i carry your heart with me

(i carry it in my heart)

My heart

My sweet nephew, it has been 3 years and I think of you every single  day.  I loved you from  the first moment I saw you and never stopped!   You made me smile when I really didn't feel very happy... you hugged me when I needed it most and even when I didn't... when you were little you let me dress you up in silly clothes and comb your hair in ridiculous styles... you loved me even when I was grouchy... you laughed at my corny jokes and always ate whatever I cooked even if it was dreadful!  When you grew up you still let me mess up your hair and never held back on those hugs!  In truth I am one of the luckiest people alive to have been blessed with so many wonderful memories.  Today when I think of you it will be with gratitude and love!   I am truly the luckiest "Ant" alive!!!

I Love You Too!!!

Just another message from heaven! There are these days when I seem to be missing Jimmy the most, and then, out of the blue (literally!) I will get a "Hello...I love you!" This photo was taken with my cell phone one July evening this past summer. Gabe's boxer,"Rusty", barked to go out and as we went out, I glanced up and saw the clouds swirling...I thought they were going to form a "J". To my surprise...it was so much more than that! For me , this picture says it all! There is a lot more to this photo when you really open your eyes and your heart!
Thank you, Jimmy!!!
On a day like today, when days turn into another year, I can look at this photo and realize with all of my heart...you are only a breath away! I love you Jim...we all love you!

I love you...

plain and simple....

every day and every night...

now and forever...

always have and always will...

three years Jim...and I am so missing you...

you are always in my heart...

my thoughts...

and I am so grateful to have you in my life...

I love you my sweet little son.

The Boys and Miss Jenny

Bulldog Hockey Playoffs...1996
A sweet memory of Darrin and Jimmy with Jenny!
I would say Jenny knows this little hug quite well!

March 3...

Gabe was home today for Bulldog practice...playoffs are starting tomorrow. We were looking through photo albums and he found this photo of Jimmy and Darrin, taken the day Meadville won their fifth consecutive State Hockey championship in 1996. The drive is on again for the Cup in 2008! With these two little "Hockey Angels" looking down...I wonder how we can lose!
