Treasures found

I mentioned in an earlier post that I thought somewhere I had some old Mother's Day cards from Jim and his brothers. Well, while going through one of my closets I found a little basket that had a bunch of things in it and among the old receipts, ticket stubs and keys to who knows what I found some of them. I believe I broke the land speed record for opening/reading! One of them had a "word search" that when solved said "I LOVE YOU SO MUCH" and another was a little computer generated card (with mom's help) from his "Rocco Amato" era. I even found the thank you card from his high school graduation! It was a keeper because when he addressed it he started someone else's name with my address. Rather than just writing a new envelope he scratched it out with big blobs of blue ink and wrote "Sorry...Luke did it!". Poor Lukie Bird! I am such a major pack rat and must say that when I found my little treasure trove I couldn't have been happier! I found notes from all of the boys and will save them forever and ever because you just never know when you'll need a smile.. and trust me...I'm still smiling! I love you, Jim XOXO

Love you too!

We already know that when Jim needs to...he can pass a message along to us. The rhododendron were in abundant bloom and looking so beautiful near the front of our house! I had company one evening and walked around the side of our home to admire the flowers. And there, in full bloom, beneath Jim's window...was our rhododendron! But this year, it bloomed...in the shape of a perfect heart! Thank you sweetheart! We love you too!
