Thinking of you today as I do every day and selfishly wishing you were here. Remembering you for all the funny little stories, the endearing little gestures, the loving words and sweet memories you left me with. You're in my thoughts always..I love you!!!

(My thanks to the 911 memorial website that offered this image. It says it all!)

Remembering our sweet Jim...

Ascension

And if I go
While you're still here...
Know that I still live on
Vibrating to a different measure
Behind a veil you cannot
see through.
You will not see me,
so you must have faith,
I wait for the time
when we can soar together again
both aware of each other.
Until then, live life to it's fullest!
When you need me, just whisper
my name in your heart...
I will be there.

Heinz Chapel...April 8th

Frank and Bridget's wedding day! This photo was taken before Frank's beautiful bride, Bridget, was escorted down the aisle! Frank waits with his best man! His brother Gabe stands by him and Jim is certainly there in spirit. A small candle in a crystal heart is lit in Jimmy's memory...quietly reminding all of us of his continuing love and presence in our lives. His light was placed on the alter between the piller candle and the vase of greenery. It was a day of wonderful blessings and new beginnings! Posted by Picasa

So many things

There are so many things that Jim did or said that made me feel more like a mom and less like an aunt. I always got a Mother's Day card from him and his brothers when they were little and more times than not there were little flowers or pictures drawn at the bottom. When he got older he out grew the "artwork" but the cards still came not only for Mother's Day but for birthdays and holidays. The pictures turned into little messages that were funny and sweet and being the pack rat that I am I'm sure I will find them tucked away in a special place. I was stranded with a flat tire one night and Jim and his mom came to my rescue.....during the Bull Dogs hockey playoffs! Of course they kept running back to the car to listen to the score on the radio. Once again during a bitter cold winter morning I called sweet Jimmy to help with another flat tire. It was about 7:00 am, I was on my way to work and the temperature was hardly out of the single digits. Within 15 minutes he and Matt Perry came to my rescue with both of them looking like they'd rather be back under the covers. Jimmy never said "no" to anything I asked of him. Thankfully I had the opportunity to be there from newborn to young man! I love him dearly I know he loved me, too! He was never too busy for a hug or a kiss and didn't care where he was at the time. Unfortunately I never let him know how much it all meant to me so I am doing it now....Thank you, my sweet angel!
